Applied Legal Studies is designed to cultivate higher-order thinking by challenging students to develop critical and analytical skills. This module bridges academic learning with practical experience, ensuring students are well-prepared for legal practice. It comprises two components: a theoretical element delivered through engaging, interactive lectures, and a practical element facilitated by the Law Clinic, where students apply theoretical knowledge to real client cases. Additionally, each student must complete 60 hours of community service to gain hands-on experience in a professional legal setting. By the end of the module, students will acquire the foundational skills necessary for entering legal practice and develop the ability to apply theoretical concepts to practical, real-world cases.
