Overview of the Course:
At the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture聽 (FADA) we believe that creativity is not just something you learn. It鈥檚 something you share, challenge and celebrate.
We鈥檙e proud to offer an exciting new Short Learning Programme in Jewellery Production, designed to help you unlock your creative potential through hands-on, studio-based learning.
This 6-week programme combines practical, guided sessions in a professional jewellery studio with instructional videos to reinforce learning. Whether you are an aspiring jewellery designer, hobbyist, art student, or simply someone looking to learn a new skill, this course offers the ideal foundation.
Over the course of six studio sessions, participants will create three sterling silver jewellery pieces 鈥 a ring, a pendant and a pair of earrings 鈥 using foundational techniques like drilling, sawing, soldering and polishing. No prior experience is required, and all tools and materials are provided.

Do I need prior jewellery making experience?
No. This course is beginner friendly
Are materials included in the course fee?
Yes, all tools and silver are provided.
How long is one session of the Jewellery Short Learning Programme (SLP)?
Each session runs from聽10:00 to 15:00听别惫别谤测听Saturday, continuing聽until 15 November. This means each session is聽5 hours long.
Will I receive a certificate?
This is a non-credit-bearing SLP, but you will receive a certificate of attendance.
