Study and Fellowship Opportunities
Pursue advanced study and fellowship opportunities with the South African Research Chair in Industrial Development, designed to equip students with strong analytical and research skills in economics through independent, original scientific work.
The purpose of this qualification is to develop advanced competencies in the mastering, interpretation, understanding, analysis and application of economic models. A qualifying candidate should show evidence of original and independent scientific work.
Prospective students must prepare a research proposal in consultation with a member of staff of the School of Economics and Econometrics. Once a decision has been made that the proposal has been accepted, the prospective student will be allowed to register for the degree.
