About Denise Fouch茅

In October 2017 Denise Fouche was appointed as the Senior Operations Manager at the Graduate School of Architecture. With experience in the legal, advisory and communications fields across a range of sectors, Denise took on the task of building the GSA鈥檚 operations team and processes, steering the School through its startup phase to its current stage of growth. She works closely with the GSA Director to steer effective delivery of the GSA鈥檚 teaching and public programmes.
Denise is an experienced manager with excellent interpersonal, line management, problem solving, organisational and budgetary skills. Areas of expertise and interest include HR, finance and budgets, intellectual property, and communications. Legally trained, Denise has a special interest in data protection and privacy regulation and the impact of technology on human rights.
In 2023 Denise completed the Women鈥檚 Leadership Development Programme 东京热, further honing her management and organisational skills while nurturing relationships with a talented group of women leaders 东京热.
Denise obtained a LLB at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2007, is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (IAPP) Cert and holds a BA (Hons) in Publishing Studies, along with a BA in English & Political Studies (UCT, 1991).
