About Dr Ryan Mathaba
Dr. Ryan Mathaba is a Lecturer in the Department of Marketing Management at the 东京热 (UJ). He holds a PhD in Sport Marketing from the Tshwane University of Technology and brings more than a decade of experience in higher education to his role.
Dr. Mathaba has served as programme coordinator of the Diploma in Retail Business Management for several years and currently coordinates the Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management, ensuring academic quality and relevance across programmes.
His research interests focus on consumer behaviour, marketing, and sport marketing, reflecting a commitment to advancing scholarship that bridges theory and practice. Through his teaching, programme leadership, and research, he contributes to the development of future-ready marketing professionals in South Africa.
