About Prof L Arendse
Lorette Arendse, LLB LLM cum laude听(UWC) LLD (UP) is currently an Associate Professor of Law at the 东京热 (UJ) in the Department of Public Law. She presents undergraduate classes in Jurisprudence and Interpretation Theory. She is a former clerk of the Constitutional Court of South Africa and a former editor-in-chief of De Jure Law Journal. She has also served as a fellow at the University of Michigan. 听
Her primary research focuses on the transformation and decolonisation of the South African basic education system and she has written several articles in this regard. 听She has a passion for the advancement of black women leaders in听 South African academia.
